GLEN ADAM PAUL SHIMARO 1978 - 2005 It is with great sadness we announce that Glen Shimaro passed away suddenly June 17, 2005. Glen was born August 2, 1978 in Winnipeg. He moved to the Vancouver area at the age of two and graduated from Johnston Heights Secondary, Surrey. Glen is survived by his mother Lucy; sister Alisha, who he loved very much; Uncle Gary and Aunt Diane; and his cousins, Shawn, Sheri and Perry, who was not only his best friend but was thought of like a brother. He is also survived by Uncles Bob, Sam, Jim, Aunt Sonya and grandmother Star Harris and many more cousins from Winnipeg. Glen enjoyed his career as a mechanic and was especially fond of camping, playing hockey and many other sports. He was known for his great sense of humour and was always telling jokes or stories to make others laugh. He will be especially remembered by family and friends for his distinctive laugh, which was sure to bring a smile to those around him. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service at New Life Assembly, 8868 128 St., Surrey, BC, on Saturday, June 25, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Glen's honour to The Weekend to End Breast Cancer (Team Breast Patrol).

  • My thoughts are with you auntie Lucy. Only time will heal, I am here for you when ever you need a shoulder to cry on. Love Lives On Those we love are never really lost to us-- we feel them in so many special ways-- through friends they always cared about and dreams they left behind, in beauty that they added to our days... in words of wisdom we still carry with us and memories that never will be gone... Those we love are never really lost to us-- for everywhere their special love lives on. - Posted by: Angie Johnston (Family) on: Jun 22, 2005
